Health Centers in Hardin, Ashland, Chinook, Lewistown and Miles City begin implementing a new name
HARDIN, MONTANA – Bighorn Valley Health Center, oneHealth, Central Montana Community Health Center and Sweet Medical Center have solidified their partnership through a new name — One Health.
“Our family of community health centers have been a unified organization focused on a single vision and mission for just over two years,” said Dr. David Mark, CEO of One Health. “We will continue to provide patients with the same access to the high-quality health and wellness services they’ve come to expect under the new name of One Health.”
Bighorn Valley Health Center (BVHC) in Hardin originally merged with Ashland in 2015. OneHealth in Miles City merged with BVHC in early 2018. Sweet Medical Center in Chinook and Central Montana Community Health Center in Lewistown joined the family of community health centers in late 2018. Throughout the merger process, locations have operated under the same legal name while maintaining their original names and logos to the public.
“The name One Health incorporates the strengths of each location,” said Mark. “Our clinics will continue to offer all existing programs and services and, with each other’s help, will continue to expand those services over time.”
One Health offers integrated primary care, behavioral health, dental, and pharmacy services including same day and urgent care. Health center locations also offer preventive services, substance use disorder treatment, public health, wellness programs, parenting and family support.
